To be honest I was confident with it anyway. Just never said so. I had taken them apart before to take a saw apart. Hence the broken up one in the pics with the large splitting maul.

I had the idea of doing this to make a laugh out of doing the job and see the reactions I would get. I like or try and have a laugh sometimes and it was making me chuckle setting the broken down saw out on the bench.

Plus all the bad press with the 200t carbs and what not thought it would brighten a few people's days as its probably what some people would love to do with this saw.

Anyway I'm glad I brightened a few people's days. Was looking for spud to see the pics and what his relation was but didn't get one.

Sorry but the whole thread was planned from the start, exept for the kindness of mark sky land sending out a spare for a donation to arbtalk that IMO is/was and always will be worth it for this site :thumbup:

Nice photo sequence:thumbup:

I just have quite a few 020/200T spares that I've amassed over the years and since I can't really sell them and I can't throw them out:001_rolleyes: I thought its a good way to do something with them.

I'm sure loads of us have boxes of bits of chainsaws stashed under the workbench that will come in handy some day............
