Stolen Chainsaws Mid-Sussex

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone. Sadly my first post is to report three stolen chainsaws from my barn on Saturday night. Live close to Forest Row in Sussex.

My neighbors CCTV shows four hooded individuals in a 4x4 type vehicle. Must have been relatively planned as they parked in the adjoining field and came round the side avoiding the cameras and motivation activated lights.

It was a full moon and very clear night. Time stamp on film was 00.10am on Saturday 29th/Sunday 28th. We came in from diner out with friends and missed them by 6 minutes!

Police informed but not holding out on seeing them again. Only recently set up my business and hadn't got round to getting insurance. So gutted.

If you live in the area please make sure everything is double locked and properly secured. Been alot of thefts around here over the last few weeks and be sad for someone else to get hit.

Chainsaws taken were Stihl 020t, Stihl ms 180 and Oloe-Mac 971. If anyone is offered or hears anything re: cheap second hand saws being sold please let me know.

Hopefully I can become engaged in more constructive posts in the near future!

Many Thanks in advance, Joe
