stihl advance trousers

Has anyone tried these out ? i can get them pretty cheap from a local dealer and they seem a good fit ,just wondering about durability, cheers

good to hear, i know that there are certian requirements here in germany for ppe does anyone know if they are the same as the uk?

not so much requirements ,as emphasis on class c protection

If your in a big company ect type c must be worn by all climbers. Groundies type a's .

If you in a one man band or smaller company its up to the guys doin the job.

Imo, both climbers and groundies should wear c's its just safer!

i'm from nz so I've only used a's ,c's are no doubt safer but i heat up something wicked and cant imagine climbing summers in nz or germany with c's, saying that i may have to. but back to the trousers I've looked around a bit and price seems good.

I just seem to remember a few threads about the hiflex falling apart so am wondering if these are any different

Ive had my hiflex for over a yr, climbed pretty much 5 days a wk and apart from some lil nicks that i sowen back theyre still in gd nick, ive climbed in them in temps of around 28c it was hot but regular water stops etc didnt stop me enough to want to climb in class a's

i have stihl advance lasted 2 years good trousers , dont rate the hiflex ones tho they lasted 6 months
