Fungi ID on Oak and Beech

Found this out and about on todays travels. The last two shots im most curious as to what it is.

Identions would be greatly appreciated

on the oak Ive no friggin ideas, maybe an asexual stage of something.

 

ganoderma on beech likely Pfeifferi

 

a distinctive bolete with a maze like pore structure, shouldnt be too hard to ident, If im feeling in the mood I might get the books out!

Im inclined to see the first ones (on oak) as aborted Fistulina hepatica

These had fruited in pretty much the same location some years before these, as normal fruiting hepatica.

yes YOUR image I can relate too but THIS image is more like a cluster of heads as in a shroom clump, it could be confistulinas, the dessication colour all fit for fistulina, its just the morphology thats not right

Compare the three.

 

a given that the cracking of the first examples skin is not evident on the the other examples, but I think its just a desication of the crust & not clumping.

(The last one was still fresh/forming & on sweet chestnut)

 

Look like anamorphs to me.

No not at all disagreeing, it is as good a verdict as we could possibly muster, host and everything fits, but ive learned to be a little cautious after that Laeti pip!

Perhaps that's actually what it was - Laetiporus quercinus
