secure footlocking technique with rock exotica ?

Hi chaps , i was wondering if it would be much easier to use a rock exotica dual rope grab with a foot strap rather than using it to replace the friction hitch when secure footlocking ? Would seem to me to be more efficient when used in this manner unless you were a tree monkey I may well be talking carp here , no doubt i will be told if thats the case

yes that would work, but you might be better with the bottom half of a set of mar-bars, or even a full set for the none tree monkey like me lol

you can get them from sherrill or i made a set many moons ago from a threaded bar and a luggage strap

this one i made up out of a metal bar and a kong hand ascender. i still use a footlocking strop and my hands holding on too the rope. but after a while i just went back to normal footlocking as its quicker.
