Bit confused

problems started with the trimmer cutting out

no fuel showing in the primer bulb even when pumped

when I pump the bulb it seems to pressurise the tank.

good spark at the plug

carb has been stripped and cleaned - was in good nick.

trimmers only a few months old but not having the time to take it to a dealer and assuming that it was only a blocked carb or fuel line thought it would be a quick fix (I was wrong)

any ideas.

many thanks

Dean

I briefly considered this but - they appear to be, unless one of the guys have been fiddling with them before I got to it.

there's a short pipe going to to the lower section of the carb from the fuel tank, the fuel tank is marked with a sign for choke at its origins.

does this sound correct?

Ok to be honest I'm not sure about what way round they should be. But goin by what you have said is happening it sound possible.

You cleaned the carb but did anyone clean the fuel tank filter?
