A friend of mine phoned me up in a panic as a hire chipper he picked up this morning had been stolen from the back of the van. He was refueling at the other end of the van with ear defenders on and only knew something was up when he heard a screech of tyres. Its a TW75 with Whitebridge Hire on the sides. He cant beleive someone stole it only 3 metres away. I'm keeping an eye out for it as i'm in the area all week. If anyone on the North Dorset/Wilts/Somerset borders sees anything that looks familiar let me know. The police and hire company have been informed.

Cheek of it - that takes some nerve to nick it so close to someone!

Makes you feel sick... is he liable then or did the hire come with insurance?

Hire came with insurance but onlyto cover against unforseen breakages not theft.

That annoys me. A few other choice words but not allowed.

Ehard many a story of people pulling up alongside and just watching you do othe etchings looking to long at the trailer.

Mate broke down on a m way and a van pulled up behind and they sat there watching, waiting for the moment he turned his back so they could have a go at the chipper on the back.

Got to admit it does take some nuts to actually try something like this.
