Hi There,

I have been wanting to become a tree surgeon for sometime been it IT for 16 years and is driving me metal.......

From investigation the NTPC 30-31 is best to start out with & living in Huddersfield my nearset center would be Holmfirth.

I am just checking i am going about it in the right way courses etc as i dont want to spend 700+ and be told you sohuld have done X instead of Y.

Thanks in advance

yeah do the 30 then 31 and if you can afford it do the 38 aswell, then all ud need is expernice and ud be a fully qual'd groundsman afterthat it all depense on what you want to do, the 32 34 39 etc

Err. not sure quite what the question is.

If it is about tickets, then every beginner starts with CS30 and CS31. It's the basic grounding in safe use and maintenance of a chainsaw. Without these you will not be able to progress to most of the other chainsaw related tickets.

So get these out the way first - it will be money well spent.

Good luck

Hi desertrat0201,

Thats the course i am wanting to do rather than split them into 2 seperate ones.

Spoke with Tim via email and there accounts followed up about payment just need to raise the funds to pay for the course.

But glad to hear some else has used them.

Try and get some experience with a local firm before you invest in tickets. Make sure it is for you. Dragging brush and hauling timber is going to be a pretty big part of your job regardless of what tickets you get.

Thanks martwizz

I did try, something like you suggest but didnt get much back from the companys in Huddersfield.

But will do another round robin on some more companys.

If anyone knows any companys that will let me do a trail run please PM me.

Thanks in advance
