Can I replace Gri Gri 2 with Rig or ID in Rads system ?

Been seemingly reliably informed i should not use a gri gri in a RADS system because it is permanently sprung open . Can i replace it like for like with an ID / Rig ? Thanks ...

Use a rig, I'Ds have anti pannic functions are bit and clumsy. Rigs are smaller and well good and can be locked off easily.

 

Just don't slam the handle into the store position when a rope is loaded, you knacker the insides of it.

remember the RIG can also open easily in treework, it has no 3 way locking mechanism. just an obvservation...
