Petzl Pantin!

I don't want to derail any of the other threads so I thought I should use this one to ask my questions.

1. How many of you use two Pantins to relieve stress on the knee? I don't mean two at the same time but alternate days or weeks maybe.

2. Where do you position your Pantin? Low on the foot or high on the ankle and why?

I use both a left and right to alternate and possibly relieve stress not only on my knee during ascent with a foot loop! When moving around the tree I'll footlock the tail.

As for position not to high not to low just right. I know it makes a difference just at this moment I can explain why with words.

I don't footlock because I found it frustrating to learn so bought a Pantin instead, 2yrs ago.

I just find it more ergonomic than pumping the pantin with one foot for those short ascents when there is nothing to get your other foot on.
