the link shows a happy. i was under the illusion that an extra rap was then a 'super' happy but i think it may be called a distal.. either way i find it to pretty dam good. got it as a knot on my side strop as well. done well with minimal slack it has a lot less 'sit back' than the vt.

RE the recomendation of a pulley saver, prob' best to get used to a cambium saver first then get an ART rope guide they are Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than a pulley saver for a few reasons

1 the pulleys are of a higher quality so the bushings dont wear out as quick, 2 they work with 13mm rope the pulley saver retrevial tail clip wont let you get 13mm in, 3 they retreive 100,000 times better as when you retreive them the cam will disengage giving slack, the pulleysaver does not do this and either A remains stuck or B you rip it out slightly damaging the strands on the loop's, IMO a pulleysaver is a false economy & if you climb on 13mm a complete waste of money

one step at a time boy chap. a cambium saver cost 25 quid once we start adding the word 'ART' in to the equation we start to be stretching the budget a bit more. i climb with a 2 ring joby and have absolutely no problem with it what so ever. Mind you there is people out there that have been climbing for years (good climbers as well) and use prussics and both ends of there rope!!

:thumbup1:yes i will get a saver, i had a two big leyalndiis to do and didnt have time to get one delivered so used tape sling and a karabiner, that worked well then ran my top anchor through the karabiner, so much easier than getting sap on your rope !!

Thats totally me, prussiks and both ends. It works fine, cheap to replace and extremely versatile to find a good work position. I very nearly got a Zigzag, i even ordered it, but alas fate stepped in. A cambium saver is very useful, just a bog standard two ring one, although cheesmanator has got me perving over the multisaver.

Nothing wrong with a sling and Revolver as a Cambium Saver. Not retrievable but works perfectly whilst climbing.
