Atlas Cedar health

Hi there, i'm afraid i have no pics of the tree but, i've been asked to do some work on it (blue atlas cedar) , but have noticed that quite a lot of needles all over the tree have turned a pinky colour and it has dropped a lot of needles.....

Is this due to the weather like the other threads that have been started? or something else? The home owner has cut some branches back.

I've seen a few cedar that reduce fine and are fine, but not sure whats up with this one.

Bit reluctant to do anything at it for now...

Any help appreciated :) (i know its vague)
