Ecology report needed Canterbury kent area

hi all iam in process of buying a building plot and need an ecology report done on the plot so far internet search and architects have given me some very expensive ecologists. Does anybody know off any ecology companies in the canterbury area that do reports at reasonable rate cheers for your help.

Out of interest, what are you classing as "expensive"?

first quote was £1000 + vat, second company has come down to £540 + vat

You could give my friend Dan hone of HoneEcology a call (link below). I was at college with him and he is a very helpful and friendly guy. He is based in East Kent and his company is a lot smaller than Lloyd Bore and not VAT registered so should be pretty competitive cost wise.
