Made this for a friend yesterday, I was looking for some feed back on pricing from you guys, I charged £40 for the basic job then £1.50 per character for the pyrography.

Made from part seasoned Sweet Chestnut, uprights internally wedged, all finished in boiled linseed oil.

Welcome, credit where credit's due and all that! What's a real shame is that I didn't know about this a couple of months ago, it was my 'wood' wedding anniversary [i was informed!] and my wife would have loved one of these!

I may still treat her to one for her birthday later in the year yet, I'll email you a sketch of what I'd like, I'd like to wall mount it...

If you make a wall mounted one post some pics, as I'm after something to deal with work boots and wellies etc. Can't stand it on the floor as the dogs race thru and spread them all over the spot.
