MF 35 engine

Just taken the engine to pieces on my MF 550 to find the little man with a sledge hammer. Outcome is No 1 Piston is hitting the head looking deeper found that the big end bearing has gone literally. No top shell and a sliver of metal for the bottom shell. Obviously both crank and con rod is U/S. Does anybody have a 3 cyl engine similar to MF 35 in good condition or know where to get a good recon short engine at a reasonable price. Otherwise does anybody want a MF 550 with a knackered engine.

Get the crank re-ground and oversize bearings for it. Would be a shame to strip it this far and not just get it fixed?

Think it will need a new crank, con rod and piston repair kit (3 pistons and rings) Second hand engine would just be an easier option and maybe more original then the yellow engine which has been put in. (industrial ?????)
