Some more. If anybody needs a body for their chip truck, I can pass on the details of the guy who did mine. Those bodies are steel framed with alloy planking, barn doors, under ram, all built and fitted for £1150...

Yeah, I sold the old bodies and cranes. I was tempted to sell, as I got them at such a great price, but right now they are earning me more consistently than any of my big kit ever has.

good for you mate, glad to hear its going well. how come your leaving the big toys alone now? did the forwarder sell?

No work for the big toys any more. Forwarder long gone, need to sell my excavator now really.

is that no work in general or just in ur area?

seems to have gone very quiet. We had several large felling jobs lined up for autumn and winter, and they nearly all got cancelled.

thats bad luck mate, i had the same where people putting stuff off til later on or cancelling completely, obviously not on same scale as ur jobs but even so its still pretty gutting

I'm pretty small scale. I suppose I hadabout £80k's worh of work either put off or cancelled this year. Made me think hard about what we were doing, so I decided to concentrate entirely on the Utility Arb.
