OK here are some pics of my hydraulic pump, motor and tank.

I got allt he main bits from

WELCOME TO FLOWFIT THE HOME FOR ALL YOUR HYDRAULIC REQUIREMENTS

I called them and spoke to a guy called Wayne, he was pretty helpful and the quality of the kit is good. One years warrenty too which is nice.

The pipes and connectors came from my local guys, who were so impressed with the kit id bought asked for the catalog and are now going to be stocking some of the stuff themselves.

All in it stands me at £1200, thats including 6m of pipe.

I think my IH 885XL tractor is 40lpm max, but it burns around 4 litres an hour cause it has to be at 1900rpm to get a decent flow rate. The JCB beaver i used to use was 20lpm and used about 4 litres in a day (£3) but the splitter was slow but lacked power. So i think the PSI was low with the beaver.

This 13hp honda clone 'Loncin' is bloody brilliant, i am running half throttle and have a super fast 10tonne splitter that is super powerfull because the pump is a dual flow. Im burning around £6 of fuel a day.
