to jump in on this thread rather than start one of my own - I have my CS38 course in two weeks (18th), does anyone know if you are allowed to take your own harness, ropes etc or do you have to use the ones the college provides?

It all needs to be less than 6months old with receipts to prove or relevant LOLER paper work in date etc I think. I used my own harness but that was all.
