Stihl ht75

Evening all,

 

Im looking at get a extendable hedge trimmer, There's on on ebay the saying its a stihl ht75, now i thought the ht75 was a pole pruner??

 

Also what is a good second hand value on these in good condition.

Ht75 is a pole pruner

 

You can fit a trimming head on but allow for replacing the complete shaft once a year at £200 as the bearings in the shaft are not made to with stand the forces involved to power a trimmer head.

That said, if you keep the trimming head well lubed as I do, the shaft may last a bit longer as mine as done two years.

Buying of the bay, you can bet your bottom dollar that the shaft bearings will be on their way out.

Price? As little as possible because of the above. I just bought new to save the hassle and factor the cost into my trimming jobs

The HT75 is indeed a Pole Pruner.
