Hi

I have the chance of some Yew. Just wondering what you think it is worth.

It is 10ft long by 2ft at base tapering to about 18inches. I have not seen it yet so assume it is good for milling.

Last stuff of that size I bought I gave , £40 and it was 15' long and pippy 22" dia

 

For the record, the value is probably a good bit higher than that.

 

Work on the basis of about £5 a hopus foot or there abouts (but be prepared to be pushed a little higher). £95 would be my offer.

Yes but Lee is tight, he's a Yorshire man so thrift and frugality are to be expected but that boy abuses the word.
