"I have done IRATA level1 and at the moment I am looking for entry job. Any tips pleas.

I have 10 years construction experience, asbestos surveying experience and construction related degree if it helps."

I was a rope access tech, did my training up in kendal at NARC....... start using Rigg Access; rope access jobs, rope access companies, rope access training equipment suppliers. Also covering rigging, inspection and ndt

I mainly worked over in Australia due to no one wanting me here (UK). A lot of companies want more than just IRATA. Another qual you need to look into is Non Destructive Testing (NDT) qualifications, but if you want to work on the rigs then you need another few qual which are something like aquatic first aid and deep water rescue ????? i've forgotten sorry. To become more wanted you need to get 1000 hours to then go for your IRATA level 2....

You really want to find a company that is decommissioning a factory or pipe works etc....so you'll be in one place for a long time to build on your hours.

Why? Cuz you'll be travelling all over the place just doing a job here and there which is crap.

Hope this helps
