I agree with Treeseers opinions, and am a lover of trees who has cared for a lot worse than that.

 

All i see is a tree of no real retention value its no champion and will probably not develop into one, it looks like there is plenty of young growth behind that would probably enjoy the extra space and light to reach their potential with less pressure from the client.

 

So I,d go for a fell.

sycamore, is poor at dealing with such wounds and the decay that follow, weakening the union not a salvage situation.

 

In this position of this species with young regen sitting beneath waiting for light this is an easy no guilt fell.
