Another cracking bench.

 

I think Trollspiel is not meaning to be offensive but maybe coming in from a different perspective....

 

I think this design is a good formula in terms of time to build, wood it uses and what you can sell it for. You could try variations on the legs but is this going to change the price you sell it for? Or be less work? Make it more sellable?

 

Prob not and considering these last 2 have sold quick enough why change it.

 

thanks for input rob, maybe I was too quick to bite!,but,,,I make my benches in the time frame that allows me to sell them at a cost people can afford, so the leg construction is a little traditional, but its not as quick as some might think, morticed and tennoned takes longer than just large sides attached with a battern, and its stronger,

I`ve made tricker benches and carved detail into them, and as much as I love doing it,they dont provide the return i need to justify renting a yard and paying bills,,,,,,so yes am slave to reality,,but still not working in a factory,or supermarket,,,and I love my job! and love turning my arb waste into something other than firewood,,,:biggrin:
