There is a small spring that sits under the part that you clip to so when you sit back into it the small spring helps push the cam to lock it of..... I think? Does that make sense, sorry for being long winded

 

Yeh i now where the small spring is,never really looked at it closly tbh.Will check it out.

I love the Spiderjack, but they need to figure out a way to make the cams last longer. I'm going though one every month to a month and a half. I use the wood thumb brake always, and have fairly clean ropes. Yet I still burn through them.
