Evening All,

I'm an usher at a good friends wedding next weekend, and on the Sunday they would like a sports day getogether!

I've been put in charge of the tug of war contest, I have some old 3 strand climbing rope, but its way too stretchy, have checked Ebay and proper tug of war rope is pretty expeno!!

So, does anyone have some I could borrow for the weekend please, they'd be a few beers/bottle in it for you! :001_smile:

In anticipation!

If you are near a ferry port or the likes try asking for their old ropes. I get them here after they have been used so many hours (HSE and all that). We use one for a 15t boat mooring. I have a couple of thinner ones for towing. The last one I got would have cost £1000+ if I bought it new, the guy on the pier said I saved him a job of taking it to landfill!
