Hi Guys, thanks heaps for the ID. @ David, yeah really interesting trees for 'body language', this tree is in Southwest Australia where they are native to. @ Andy, yep bought the app, cheers it looks good.

Probably not a Pleurotus species then, but a Hohenbuehelia species (see hidden forest nz fungi : Pleurotaceae)
