I have taken parts in exchange for servicing before, I think they were worth more than the time I spent doing the job but to be honest, I was doing the owner a favour and he offered and I accepted, end of:001_tt2:

 

For all we know, the sell price of the saw may dictate what the outstanding debt is.

 

The question was, what is the saw worth...........think I answered this some time ago:lol:

Sorry, this reply is a bit late.

 

But, NO, I would not. Taken in payment, full, or part, is the same as buying it.

 

Everyone in business buys for one price and sells for another, therby making PROFIT, nothing to be ashamed of there.

 

Taken in payment, PX, or bought for cash, its all a gamble. You dont know if you have put the right value on it until you've sold it, and made either profit or loss.
