Granfors splitting maul rescue!

I have just completed my first days training for my long overdue nptc cs 32 medium fell ticket today and after felling my first tree of the day (a 70 foot causican pine) I stick my trusty granfors splitting maul in the felled trunk for safe keeping so I didn't mid lay it. After wandering over to observe one of the candidates to observe them I watched to my horror another candidate fell another large pine directly on top of my maul and felling gear bag. NOOOOO! After running over expecting my maul to be smashed it wa driven fully into the trunk of my tree. Amazingly after a couple of minutes cutting the maul came out totally un scathed.

What a quality product!!!!

Money well spent, recommended !!!
