Hi im thinking of buying a japa 300 would processer that runs of its own engine does anyone have one out their, and what do they think about them. how many cubic metres a hour will the processer produce. its going to cost me around £7000 including vat.

Had japa 300 few years back ,cant remember how many cube an hour. The only thing to watch for on the diesel version is the mounting bolts snapped

Do they do a circular saw one with its own power unit?, they are faster than the chainsaw ones. The chainsaw ones really come into their own once you get to logs over about 40 cm as you need a massive circular saw to cut that size.

I have used a jappa 700 circular saw type, it was ok, very fast on the thin stuff less than 6". The build quality is nothing like as good as the posch stuff though. I just bought a posch 300 and it is light years ahead of the jappa. The jappa was great for thin stuff that didn't need splitting though.

I have a Jappa 700, do about 2 cube an hour single handed using a load rack and tele-porter. Two manned then maybe 2.5 as I don't have to stop and reload the rack.
