Couple of splices from this morning

Here's a couple of lanyards I made this mornin for myself. The blue one is 10mm AP and the orange one is 11mm Samson velocity. The reason for the quick release shackle is basically I couldn't think of anything to do with it,so I thought I'd chuck it on the end of my lanyard so I can clip the end to my harness and daisy chain the rest to keep it all neat:-)

Cheers chaps. Yeah the AP is a bit pricey for a lanyard but you have to treat yourself now and again! Haha.

To be honest I just wanted to try a different rope on my cinch and thought the AP would work nice? As for the velocity I just like splicing that so thought I'd get some!? Haha.

Hi mate,

congratulations! Nice, clear, cool!

Please, how do you spliced AP? On website Treetools write: Armor-Prus is a Class II cord but you can use a modified Class I splice if you know what you're doing.

With AP i have´t experience.

Thanks, martin

Cheers mate. So far so good with the 10mm at the min. Not had chance to try it out as a single line yet but I'll report back when I have. Seems to run nice and smooth in the cinch though not sluggish like some ropes seem to be. I was using mammut supersafe previously and the AP seems to be on par.
