Wood for turning???

ive heard that lime is good for turning as its soft, not sure if that means its also good for carving? i recon pear wood be good as thats also very soft. as for cost, you need some buyer first.

 

yeah, a buyers what im looking in to-old matey only wants the odd bit, the rest im wondering if it would make more as turnable wood as its a shame to chop it for fire wood!
