Had to rub my eyes when I saw this last week!

 

 

 

Great shot Paul.

 

 

Would think that it's more than likely G. applanatum, as it's hosted on a dead stump.

 

Can't tell from the photo, any idea on the stumps id?

I saw something similar to that, i had to make some oak cubes for a client and one went wrong and the farm manager had it, when i saw it a few weeks ago it had Ganoderma and fistulina brackets growing on it it looked really odd:001_smile:
