Caravan would be ideal but makesure it's one you can be when it's brass monkeys! I've used laterooms.com recently. So long as there is a shower and a tv it's work.... Who cares!

Normally pay £25 a night inc breakfast and try to include that in the job price!

hi fellas,

right looking to do some subby work around the uk. just wondering how you go about accomadation.

4 weeks away at a time in dfferent locations. hotels will be to expensive

any one got any advice?

Knock off early on your first day and head down towards the local train station and you will usually find cheap digs around there if not make way to nearest pub drink 10 pints and wake up to find your froze to the inside of the van. Or if you want to get organised check out local b&b on line find a nice old dear that will cook breakfast for you at 11 and tea at six that will be the cheapest option imo. Good luck i spent 12 years on lodging away and loved it all though did stop in some ruff places.

if your in the stansted area let me know mate and ill put you in touch with a b&b there, the best going in the area with a farm for storage. You could always do as we did in the summer camp.
