Hi guys,

I have a felling job coming up this summer of about 10-15 oaks, proably around 60-80cm DBH (a guess as I havent measured) all would be naturally woodland grown.

any ideas of price to be expected per cubic metre/foot? and secondly any ideas of buyers, the site is around 10mins north of Gatwick Airport and it would need to be collected from roadside.

Thanks

David

You get different answers from different people about summer felled oak as a general rule big clean planking butts which are to be cut through and through need to be winter felled and beam and dimensional oak can be felled all year round.
