If you pm me your email I will send you a pdf fitting guide that I got when trying to fit mine, if I can finde it in my stone age computer.

I do remember the pto gave me a hard time and bloody knuckle s to get fitted but well worth the hassle for the pulling power and control it allowes.

Hi mate thanks for the reply, i think i have the instructions that you're talking about but it does'nt show the route that the shafts take, that's what i cant get my head around, which ever position i try just does'nt seem right, the shafts are too close to something.

The chip box lid has wings that fit into rails on each side when in use, when not in use lid drops down and wings are clipped up onto lid out of the way. And im not fly tipping its being tipped there by request there is a track at the bottom of the banking that the chip is being tipped onto, maybe i should remove that pic as your not the first to mention it but i thought it showed the usefulness of a landy over a transit or suchlike.:thumbup1:

pto will be very closed to the sump and with mine having a twisted performance stainless pipe on it a bering touch's this, just. Will try and take a pick on phone tomorrow and work out how to post off it to show how mine go's. Take it you have a 300 from the air intake so with luck will be the same. I think if yours is a td5 but the winch came off a tdi then you might need new shafts. The people at superwinch are very helpful as needed a few bit for mine and sorted it all over the phone with lots of advise.

Might try some sort of lid like that as sick of chip on roof and bonnet.

Mine is a TD5 and the winch came of a TD5 although mine was a pick up and the other a hard top, don't know if that would make a difference or the fact that mine is about 10yrs older. The main prob is where the first shaft from the pto has to go over the gearbox mount and exhaust mount, the gap between floor and mount doesn't leave much space for the shaft. And there's a lot of angles rather than a straight run, maybe that how it should be just looks a bit haphazard to me.

If you want pics of the chip box let me know, cheers

Tryed to get some picks for you but they dont make sence as will need to put the landy up an a 4 poster to get far anough away to see anything. I can still send you yhe stuff from superwinch if you want.

If you could post a pick of the lid set up it would help as now got some alloy sheet to get on with the mods.
