Got a brand new carb from stihl for my 076, when trying to start it i keep getting petrol spitting out of the top of the carb through the choke flap. I can get it started but it tempremental and wont start easily again unless i warm the plug. Its got loads of compression,so much it nearly breaks your wrist!.:scared1:Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Cheers David

Problem before new carb was the petrol would come through in fits and starts. Ran well when running but would run itself dry very quickly. It didnt spit the fuel out of the carb like it is now.

How do I know if the inlet needle lever is set to correct height?
