Trading standards & log nets

Last year I heard a trading standards officer giving a bloke selling wood off a tractor and trailer, at the side of a field a good talking to about putting weights on nets. The telling was " You should not do that as one bags weight can vary from time to time, and no 2 bags weigh the same for long, for the usual reasons. It is advisable to sell by volume or price a bag by its size. Sir" It was not far off Bawtry, near Doncaster - incase you were wondering.
