Its not got a recognised level of qualification within the uk so it would not gain you any entry points for say Australia or with the AA in the UK - eg qualifications that would are - NCH Arb level 2 , Tech cert level 3/4 and so on, its only from me doing qualifications at different levels that I can gauge an opinion, its just my opinion if you have chosen that route thats fine, don't worry.:thumbup1:

The OP didn’t ask about immigration or weather the AA recognised certification but if you are planning to work abroad certification is desirable in many countries.

From

A consumer's guide to arborist qualifications :: tree-care.info

ISA Certified Arborist

International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborists have a level of technical knowledge equivalent to about NQF level 2

And from

Qualifications - The Arboricultural Association

Examples of arboricultural qualifications at level 3 accepted for AA Technician Membership grade

4. ISA Certified Master Arborist

So the ISA certification programme is recognised within the UK and the AA

The simple fact is that ISA certified arborists programme is recognised worldwide but you are right, it is just your opinion, others differ
