Hi guys, new to all this forum stuff but found this thread great for finding out why my choke wouldn't stay on, so many thanks! Have added a picture of the parts new and old to show the broken stub. Hope that helps future readers (it's pretty hard to spot because its on the backside when you open the handle up).

Nice pic.

 

There is also one more place that also goes if its not the orange bit and that's the white rocker part that it rubs against. This lip can also go.

Must keep my camera on my bench, but I am rubbish at close ups. What camera do you use?

 

yep i'll echo that - these linkages always catch me out - good pics really help
