How can anyone sell a Top Handled Chainsaw on E Bay. Doesn't this devalue the poor guy who's had to take the C38 Certificate in order to purchase a new Top Handle Saw.

No reputable dealer I know would supply one without it

I sell most of my top handles to guys on this site, the Tanaka has also gone to a local guy and also a member on this site. Ebay is a good second channel to sell through and there is no law at present to stop this.

 

I am not a dealer, I refurb saws to high standards and make sure all safety features work. Even guys with their tickets can buy off the bay so please don't make me out to be irresponsible!

 

I also service others saws and commonly replace chain catchers and chain brake components so unlrss the llaw changes, can continue to sell some of my saws on the bay.

Hey I'm not questioning the quality of your work or your reputation, it's just that a dealer turns away people who want to buy new Top Handle Saws, but can't produce the necessary certificate.

I just don't think it's fair on the poor qualified tree surgeons who have had to splash out the money to get certified
