A23 tree murder

drove down the A23 towards Brighton and could not believe my eyes,for 3or 4 miles every single tree has been felled either side and central reservation,was a really nice stretch of road with some lovely trees ,now it looks like Mordor!really depressing,justs seems really excessive:thumbdown:

There gave been loads of fatal accidents on that stretch of road which is why they're 'improving' it. I quite like it though....especially heading north in the rain with the rear wheel on an RX7 spinning and squirreling every time you touch the throttle, and the bumps in the road heading south are amazing on a motorbike!

is this Handcross Hill your talking about? they have done it to turn it into 3 lanes going up and down the hill as that bit of road is terrible for traffic, but yeah it is a shame

 

fair enough,glad it wasnt done for some health and safety reason!lot of work though,someone got a few quid out of it,cant win em all Nick!!
