Come on your wanting one now after seeing Betsy again the other day aren't ya?! Go on admit it!

I am! And after driving our 110 a bit I want one of my own.

I'm aiming for a td5, like Kev mentioned if they are as simple as requiring a service I'm happy.

Don't fancy something that's nearly as old as me! Been looking at a 110 v reg td5. But there are tons out there. Just got to see what the insurance say. And the bank!

The 130 TD5 I had got serviced on schedule, rear suspension bushes most MOT's and had a replacement front diff in 4.5 years. The new one has had nothing yet but is due the 48k big service with all oils and the clutch is on its way out so that will see me £600+ at an independant specialist.

It's not just the fuel to think about when comparing costs to your citroen, servicing, tyres, etc will be significantly more money.

300 tdi for me. I have had 200tdi (bits getting harder to find) and have a Td5 and 300. Td5 is more refined but its got more intelligence than me, ie too many electrics. Dont trust em miself. As vehicles age wires always cause problems. If yr changing it often then no probs, but I like to keep em a long time. My (slightly tweaked) 300 has lots more low end grunt too, brill when loaded (its a 110 hi-cap) or towing. More relaxing (if noisier?) to drive than my chipped 130 crew cab (although a mate had his 90 Td5 chipped at same time as me, and tbh its frighteningly fast + torquey).

MPG wise not much in it.

Even i'm confused now!

Cheers for all the replies. It seems like a landy may be a bit much right now as I'm not sure where I'll be in a few months.

I've got a very keen eye on a new shape fiesta can that's ticking more boxes ATM. At a very good price!

it seems ive changed my mind, i thought a landy could have been on the cards but after some discussions with a few people its seeming like it wont come to fruition just yet, will have to keep waiting!

weve got one i can use every now and a again so its not so bad.
