From the point of view of legality of road use above 20mph there are only 2 mainstream modals of “tractor” that are legally capable of exceeding 20mph, They are the Fastrac & the Unimog, NO other conventional tractor is legally allowed to travel faster than 20mph on the UK public highway irrespective what some salesman will tell you.

 

This is because tractors lack suspension on ALL wheels/axels, don’t have direct link steering, don’t have brakes that conform to EU truck standards, lack braking efficiency & don’t meet lighting regulations (>25mph)
