Well we started the conifer job today.

Not been looking forward to it tbh.

Due to the access being too narrow for Matt's chip truck's and the timescale involved in extracting the timber and tree's we went back to the original plan. Thanks again for coming Matt.

 

spec is - 65 tree's to be removed on left, a million lengths of cord on right to be extracted to work area and stacked. 2 hedgerow's in work area to be topped. 350+ stumps to be ground out, entire strip of land to be rotovated and seeded.

At the end of the first day we have removed and chipped all 65 tree's, started grinding, started topping the hedgerows and started extracting the timber.

 

I'm pooped, more piccys to come tomorrow.

Hell of alot on conifer there. Looks like its getting there though. Hate getting the sticky sap all over my hands.

 

Tell me about it, I really dislike conifer..:sad:

at least u had gd machinery and gd access,did some yday with just 4 blokes,nearly drove me insane ive actually given up quoting them as they are pure evil in every way
