Level 6

Hi, I'm looking into doin the level 6 prof dip, or whatever it is referred to as now. Has anyone done the old version or started the new version, and are you able to offer some insight into the work load and knowledge requirements compared to level 3 tech cert? Also any idea of the new prices, I am yet to enquire with treelife, and wondering (about the level of self motivation!) about the treemail course. Does anyone know pass rates of treemail compared to their other course options?

Kev I'm currently doing the Lev 4 with TreeLife, and I have the impression the work load is similar over the two levels (although much more technical & strategic in the 6)

Basically they are both assignment based with roughly 4/5 assignments every two weeks.

 

You have to be quite self motivated as the work output is pretty relentless.

 

I believe you need to gain more modules on the Lev 6 than is required for the Lev 4.

I part completed the old P Dip arb at Reaseheath. Unfortunately I'd just set up a business and ended a marriage at the same time and couldn't devote the time to finishing it. As I remember it required a fair lot of input/output so

a lot will depend on your own circumstances and constraints.

I think I need to seriously think about how much time I could realistically devote to this. Wife, one year old and another baby due in June mean time is sparse and only gonna get sparser (more sparse?)! Any other comments/suggestions welcome...
