Thats a crock to start with, they have and will pull 2.5 tons all day long, with a loaded chip box! I did it for 3 years

 

really? I remember having to tow another cabstar (about 2ton) to the garage once and it struggled to go over 25, going up hills it nearly came to a standstill! that was without chip.

We had one for 6+ years a cabstar 120, was reliable and a good workhorse, cab too narrrow for 3 blokes but good for narrow drives, pulled well, sold it on and its still working now up north. Top speed is not so good if you got a lot of motorway miles to do tho.
