who wants to work inside

sometimes in our line of work we get to do some jobs in great locations.

been working in the grounds of a old manor house that has been restored,was part of a old mill

1 million was spent on the restoration,the right hand side [looking]is going to be offices,the middle a cafe,and the left hand side is for bats.

just taking out a few trees ready for the grand opening,the large pine to the right is coming down,the 2 ash in front of it 30% reduction,plus a few small pines,ash trees and a oak coming out.

we startled a pair of sparrow hawks yesterday in the grounds and one dropped its kill right at our feet [a redwing]:001_rolleyes:

what i mean is why would anyone want to work indoors when you can be working in places like this.

good point though,your response got me thinking.

saying that though,if i had a office job in a building dating from the 1600s:thumbup:

great when you get a nice place to work :thumbup1:

was at the old Donaldson's school last week quite a building!

lauriston castle is another nice place to work we were there last summer had a BBQ for lunch :thumbup:

What happened to the chipper, Anti theft device. Nice location to work in by the looks

 

seems to be anti theft:lol:

that chipper belongs to the countryside dept,we are just on the borrow!

the area we where working in was a bit boggey so we took the tracked,we the tree gang have 2 towable 190s
