whats the most anyone has towed with one of these. They're rated at 1300kg braked towing capacity. surley not. but then again i have seen one or two towing caravans.

I had one that I used for towing, but a Land Rover it is not. Even with a small trailer, you could really feel it struggling - and that was before the trailer had anything in it!

Overall it was great though, and was fantastic off road and in the snow. Way better than it had any right to be.

Watch out for lorry ruts on the motorway, but 'they all do that sir'.

I brought one for my wife 12 yrs ago still going well. Mine has a 1.3 dohc motor which is lively but no grunt for pulling.

It's heavier than it looks but short, so wouldn't like to pull much - unbraked.

As above brill off road and for snow great fun:thumbup1:

I've got a 2011 model and love it. Far better ride than the old SJs and I found it more comfortable than a fiesta on a long journey. It cruises at 70 mph too. I just towed 350kg of trailer back from perth (650km) and it took half hour longer than normal
