Chipper lock

Need a lock for my jensen, are the ones that go around the wheel any good??

Wouldn't buy either of those. Too cheap spend a bit on locks. Lincmaster do good stuff but very pricey failing that purpleline, bulldog or some milenco stuff is good

both look way too weedy to even slow the scum down, you want big heavy looking metal, huge chains and expensive padlocks, i saw a nice wheelclamp at orangeplant 6mths ago that was decent size box section filled with concrete and other nasties:thumbup1:

go on the lincmaster site like mike said thats proper heavey duty stuff they do ive got some of there chain and its massive.

Cheap security measures don't work at all.

 

We always chain our chipper to the van on site. You should really get a good tracker fitted too.

i use linc master wheel clamp and lock lets be honest do you really want a cheap one how much is your chipper worth ?.

 

spend as much as you can £500 to secure £5000 and so on

 

also buy a big chain for when in transit how easy would it be to pinch a chipper unhitched ? lock em round lamp posts
