I can't comment on durability but recently brought a pair if hi flex class 2,tried the stretch airs aswell but they were a lot heavier and bulky than the hiflex. The stretch airs did look more durable to be fair but too restrictive for me.

I was thinking of putting a bid on too. What do you reckon they're worth? £50? Few hundred metres of thread should be enough to stitch them up....

will take quite a bit to stitch them up

 

I guess from looking at the pics that they would repair if you where patient enough and they where cheap enough

hiflex are probably one of the most comfy trousers to wear but they pull and tear far too easy for my liking, I bought my first pair of stretch air nearly two years ago and they're still plenty of life in them yet. So I,m going to stick to the stretch air from now on.
